The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival was first held in Da Nang City in 2008. 2024 marks the 12th year this dazzling event will illuminate Da Nang City.
The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival has transformed over time. Before 2017, it was a more condensed event, lasting just 2 days with 4 or 5 teams competing. The festival typically took place in March or April, often coinciding with major holidays in Da Nang.
However, since 2017, the festival has grown significantly. It now stretches across 2 whole months, featuring around 8 teams dazzling audiences every Saturday night. This extended schedule reflects the festival’s increasing popularity and Da Nang’s commitment to offering visitors a longer and more spectacular fireworks experience.
Between 2020 and 2022, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
