Phin Ho Mountain peaks in Thong Nguyen commune, Hoang Su Phi district, Ha Giang province. This cool spot sits 1,300 meters above sea level. Year-round, clouds wrap the landscape, creating a refreshing and pure atmosphere. Here, nature generously gifts a treasure: the Shan Tuyet tea tree. These tea trees grow wild in the forests, reaching heights of 5 to 10 meters, with trunks over 20 centimeters in diameter and lifespans stretching hundreds of years.

The Fin Ho Tea Cooperative is a collective business venture of 50 local households. They produce organic Shan Tuyet tea using the traditional methods of the Red Dao ethnic group. Through their special techniques, they craft Shan Tuyet tea with exceptional flavor. They offer five different teas: green, red, black, white, and Fairy tea. Each type boasts its unique aroma and taste, with prices ranging from a few tens of US dollars to several hundred US dollars per kilogram. In 2015, Fin Ho tea earned certification as an Organic EU product from the European Union alliance and is recognized as a 5-star OCOP product of Vietnam.

The Hao Dat Tea Cooperative

The Hao Dat Tea Cooperative, located in Tan Cuong commune, Thai Nguyen province, is a renowned producer of Tan Cuong green tea, a famous Vietnamese variety prized for its exceptional flavor thanks to the region’s ideal climate and terrain. They are a leader in applying scientific and technical advancements, ensuring consistent quality control throughout their process. Production capacity ranges from 4.0 to 4.5 tons of fresh tea buds per day. On average, the cooperative processes between 1,350 to 1,500 tons of fresh tea buds annually, supplying the market with 250 to 300 tons of dried tea buds each year.
